Professional Training Program – MMS GROUP

MMS GROUP offers a professional training program designed for all interested adults who wish to acquire specific professional knowledge and practical skills in a short period and become employed in the respective field.
The training is conducted using a work-based learning methodology, which involves a synthesis of theory and practice. Highly qualified specialists from MMS GROUP are involved in the process, ensuring the professional development of students in a real work environment.
Training Format and Duration: 42 hours (12 hours of theory and 30 hours of practical training). After completing both theoretical and practical courses with the instructor, participants will receive an average of 10 hours per week of training and be awarded a Level 3 electric welding certificate, valid for 2 years.
A welder trained at MMS GROUP is ready to work in the maritime sector, construction sites, and industrial infrastructure.
In the MMS GROUP course, you will learn both MMA and MSG (MIG/MAG) welding technologies, their advantages, and safe use in a real work environment.
MMA Welding (Manual Metal Arc Welding)
Manual arc welding using a covered electrode;
Welding is done by striking an arc with an electrode;
The electrode coating creates a protective gas and slag layer that shields the weld from oxygen exposure;
Used in open spaces and harsh conditions on metals of various thicknesses.
MAG Welding (Metal Active Gas)
MAG welding is a process of electric welding performed using an active shielding gas, mainly used for welding steel and alloy metals.
Process Features:

Uses active gas – mainly CO₂ or gas mixtures (e.g., CO₂ + Argon);

Welding is carried out with continuous feeding of a wire that melts at arc temperature;

The active gas protects the weld pool from the effects of oxygen and nitrogen, ensuring a strong and high-quality weld.
